Yesterday I had my second paper making class, this week we were cleaning the softened wood bark ready for pulping. This was quite a laborious process, as we had to inspect each piece and remove small black pieces of bark, which would left black spots all over the finished paper.
Then after cleaning, the pieces of paper were pulped in this machine:
Next week I think we’ll be pressing the paper onto wire netting for pressing.
